Important limitations around website content and public statements.

Please read these limitations before relying on IndiePay’s website, dashboard, payment verification tools, Connect app, APIs, or related services.

General disclaimer

Last updated: July 11, 2026.

This Disclaimer applies to the IndiePay website, dashboard, Connect app, APIs, payment links, payment buttons, seller pages, storefront tools, transaction verification features, and related services.

By accessing or using IndiePay, you acknowledge that the services are provided as software tools and that this Disclaimer forms part of the overall terms governing your use of the platform.

Fraud and impersonation warning

IndiePay keeps account access and sensitive credentials under your control. IndiePay will never ask for passwords, OTPs, PINs, card details, bank login credentials, or sensitive account access over email, chat, phone, or social media.

For safety, only follow official IndiePay product flows and support instructions. If you receive an unusual request claiming to be from IndiePay, contact [email protected] so we can help verify it.

Service operations and accuracy

IndiePay is built to support reliable UPI payment workflows, dashboard visibility, and verification operations. Some outcomes may depend on connected UPI apps, banks, device permissions, notification delivery, telecom networks, merchant configuration, third-party infrastructure, and customer-provided information.

We continue to improve platform reliability, matching accuracy, and product workflows, while merchants remain responsible for checking order, refund, tax, and customer-facing details before taking business action.

Payment management role

IndiePay provides payment management software, QR or link generation, dashboard tooling, APIs, and verification features. IndiePay does not itself provide a bank account, UPI account, escrow account, or custody of customer funds.

Merchants remain responsible for their customer relationships, product delivery, refund handling, tax obligations, regulatory compliance, and the lawful use of UPI or banking facilities connected to their business.

Liability and indemnity

IndiePay provides the platform with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IndiePay is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, revenue, data, business, transaction, or opportunity losses connected to merchant use of the services, third-party systems, or customer disputes.

If a limitation of liability is found unenforceable, IndiePay’s maximum liability will be limited to INR 1,000 or the amount paid to IndiePay for the disputed service, whichever is lower.

You agree to indemnify IndiePay against claims or losses arising from your misuse of the services, breach of this Disclaimer or the Terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person’s rights.

Updates and contact

We may update this Disclaimer to reflect improvements in our services, legal requirements, or operating practices. Continued use of IndiePay after updates means you accept the revised Disclaimer.
